Title: 3 for possible ID please
Post by: Doug on July 30, 2014, 11:03:06 AM
First one is a lead body with an iron (small) rod going through it.

Second I think may be two bits of a buckle?

Third is flat on the back. (main body)

Many thanks...................Doug

Could the first simply be a wheel from a lead toy? I'd go with you on 2 being from a Georgian buckle and I would hazard a guess that 3 is another sword hanger in the same family as the one below, think scabbard rather than belt ;)

No 1 is a spinning top.  Agree on buckle bits and wont argue about no 3

Val

Thanks Geoff, I can now see the one rivet or the remains of one on the other side and the hole at the top would have held the second rivet.

Lead round thingy, possible toy wheel off a car, I found a similar spinning top on the web but none appeared to be made of lead.
