i val i know lucky for me it was pete soil very easy to dig i nearly gave up thinking it was iron i checked all the hole with the probe and the coil lucky for me it was on top of a big rock it makes you think if the coin was lost a foot away i would have never found it i've worked the pasture footpaths for acouple of years and
 mist the 2 coins i have found a good setting for the xp walk slow and swing fast happy days

So different to the Safari.  I have to keep telling myself, swing fast, swing fast. Roll Eyes  And the worst thing you can do is something I got into the habit of with the Safari and that was to swing s l o w over a target to make sure I knew what it was. Do that with the Deus and it tells you it's everything from an onion to a banana. 
I'm amazed how far down the ring pulls are. I dug one yesterday that was the depth of the spade head-9" with a cracking signal.  Still I'm getting there slowly.
