Found these few bits today in the same field as the other lot, not sure if the 2 inch pointed thing is a broken arrow head or not and the piece with dots on could be a strap end bit. Any comments anybody?

George

Looks like an arrowhead to me.
Not sure about the other item but it does look like a strap end.

Nice finds  Grin

Looks like pewter to me. Probably fragments of spoons?

Well found. some interesting pieces. Jury split on 'arrowhead' given the pattern I'd say spoon as well. We all live in hope. I want a flint one  Roll Eyes

I got to agree, not bronze unfortunately, pewter fragments keep at it though. Wink

Thanks for all the comments everyone, possibly is bits of a spoon or knife but not so sure when I look closely at the spotted piece, but what I think is a arrowhead is very very hard as well. I think I will let the FLO decide next time we meet.

Hi Waggis, apologies for not putting my comments on earlier....
Hemmmm!!!.could be right about the strap end,but as you rightly say,its a good idea to let the boffins take a look.
Anyway, well searched and found, and well done for getting out...👏👏👏👏....👍
Continued good hunting....😁

I had a look at antique pewter spoon designs earlier and found a site called   olddominionforge.com   If you have a look towards the bottom, just past the knives,  you'll see some spoons with handles the same as ours.
FLO knows best (sometimes) so best to check anyway.
