Whenever I change machines, I tend to go through a phase of digging more signals, as I'm not sure what they will be - I sometimes wonder if it is that more than anything else that improves finds rate - certainly when I use something like a Golden Mask, which is either dig or not dig, I'll dig a lot more of everything (trash included).

I'm trying to be good and dig anything that might not possibly be iron on my Etrac at the moment - and it is having an effect - although I'm yet to find anything decent with it, just more stuff!
