bought myself a minelab explorer xs ( second hand) is this a half tidy one to start off with ??
i give £345 with head phones a pinpointer sand scoop and a few more spares did i over pay ? Huh

Good price for a good machine Wink You say "is this a half tidy one to start off with"? well don'T worry about starting off, it's a good as it gets lol. The newer Minelabs are slightly more user friendly but have just the same performance. It could be the only one you ever need.
XS users on here are Mikethefob, Napolean, Cassa Dos and myself, so any help we can be, just shout Wink

You have a great machine. Bought mine in 2000 and don't see a need to replace it. The only issue has been the weight and at one point I got tennis elbow. Bought an XP but after 9 months had to go back to the Explorer. The weight is only a problem if you are swinging but not digging.

The Bungee gets in the way and BYRONS keeps on breaking down.I no he keeps on borrowing mine,then finds better stuff than me. Grin
