Not much to go on

Got this fragment last Sunday, not much to go on for an ID, but was wondering if anyone could date it based on the design. It has been silverised and has a distinct pattern including birds in a line and the bottom left is showing the back end of an animal, possibly a horse. Many thanks.

Not much idea of size so I'm just guessing. It looks like a coat of arms so could be a livery button. Could being the operative word.
Love odd finds like that. Spend ages just wondering what and where.

Thanks for that Val, you are probably right about  coat of arms, but definitely not Livery Button. It is curved and seems to be a fragment off some sort of vessel.

Definitely looks silver,just wondering if it could be an embellishment once attached to a larger piece of silverware ie:church chalice,etc.
Could be a coat of arms,off the like.
