Hello hope you do not mind me invading your forum.
I am from Cornwall but visit your beaches on a semi regular basis while visiting family.
Plus its good to see a beach section in regular use.
I 99% of the time hunt only hunt beaches and I am addicted to the gold stuff.
Here are a few of my finds from Wales and Cornwall.

2oz silver chain

Faty sov ring

Me hard at it lol

A nice bit of 24k turned out to be Indian

After a nice winter stom all these came up in a couple of hours

The one thing I love more than gold  Grin

This photo is of my fave beach people that say uk beaches are not as busy and there is no gold to find make me laugh

Hi all again I use (Dora the explorer) as she is called lol.
Minelab  Explorer II.
mostly use the  15x12 sef or the 10 x12 sef
if the beach has been stripped and signals all over.
We have been throe a lot together. She refuses to die or give up on me even after a good dunking

Just washed her out with distilled water and of we went again and that was more than a couple of years ago.
but days like this make up for it.

This next one is a photo is of me on my first ever trip out
as a beach and metal detecting virgin.

and first finds

Yes that is Newqey.
but wont post pictures of my best beaches LOL.
Might PM you thou if your intrested.
I now only hunt nights 10 hour stints normally got fed up with people and hassle
can pull 50 to to my record of a 107.56 pounds in a good night in the summer on the soft
but love the wet the most still get nights like this thou

I am saving every thing now for a GPX 5000 may be the end of the year
Gold is the best but have 2.1 kilo of pe-des silver 925 and 3.1 of the 500 silver latter coins..
Funny thing is they did not have much value last year now I am very glad I got them with the price of silver
Happy hunting all  Smiley
