Picked this out of a field yesterday that produced three Roman Fibula  (only one mine I hasten to add)   this Stagg Head is about two inches tall and is quite heavy gauge.....the rear is concave and has no signs of any type of attachment...

Any Ideas Please....    Tom

Hi Tom, your stag head is a mount off a Victorian or earlier long case clock and the fixing point would have been on the missing antler. I have two eagles I have found of a similar size and concave shape with their tail feathers missing,
