Nice find. Well it's a halfpenny or farthing!

Any chance of better pics?  - when I try to zoom in to see the lettering these become very blurred.

It looks a blunder inscription ..I wonder if it is a continental  copy of a halfpenny of Edward11/111......They are usually lighter in weight and less silver content...Test the reading on meter with other coins of same period...Rob

Just had another look at it and I think the most likely is a Henry VI leaf-pellet issue halfpenny, like this:
