Clicky clubs!!, never met one yet!!, they are all so warm and welcoming and inviting!!

iv been warned off my local club by several detectors iv met locally in my travels.
So far iv met 3 people off detectingwales and all 3 were really nice people .Im hoping as i meet more people and go on some rallys (when they are more local to west wales) that things will continue in the same thread as my first encounters.
I personally am thrilled when other people find items and i get to have a good look,perhaps its just me but the finding something cool rush is better than the owning of it.
There will always be some people who will not be friendly (like that bloke with a detector who snubbed us)
i guess you just got to roll with, it its their problem and if they cant play nice nice let them take their ball home with them and find the cool dudes to hang out with instead.

I think your getting the wrong end of the stick ,metal monster posted a topic about his thoughts on a club,, dw isnt a club its a forum ,, ive seen the best clubs go to the wall as people changed and got clicky.

i know he wasnt talking about dw i was just saying my experience so far has been to be warned off the local club and that the people iv met on dw have been good i wasnt implying he was talking about any group of people in particular.
Yes dw is a forum but the fact it has rallys and you have to be a member makes it more a big cyber club than a forum .I know that due to dw i personally dont need to join a local club (which is much more likely to be clicky)

i know what your saying metal monster but just crack on and find the goodies mate,playgrounds last forever.although saying that all the people iv'e met on rallies, club digs whatever i have found to be the most helpfull nicest folk i've met.

The best club I have ever seen and loads all agree is covered in chocolate and is in the shops in multi packs packs
