Hey Dale, After typing in roman dragon belt on, finds.org, it came up with strap fitting, post medieval with a couple of comparisons Wink Wink

Hi Paul, I just took a look at the ones on finds.org I think we are on the right tracks, bet you never know....its in great condition looking at the other ones, just a shame its been damaged, but a great find nevertheless Wink

Paul Google image, roman winged phallus....... I have a artefact book I will post a pic later but this is a close example to your winged item.. but the reference book is closer to yours.... im off out now, so il post later
