Hi ya matey,Pendine is a no go area,no metal detecting allowed !!apparently,loads of ordanance was being found,grenades,etc.
As for Tenby,well park up at South beach,left or right beach is OK,if you decide to turn right towards Penally, you will find loads of "spent" cartridge cases and bits of lead.

thanks for reply, is south beach the one they used to have the radio one shows at a few years back? and pendine is off limits for good now then?

The answers are yes and yes,but with regard to Pendine sands,I would stay off it,for good,always ....SAFETY FIRST
You can always get in touch with the local authority and ask them !!
