Had a trip over the bridge today with keepmeteathinthejar…….to one of south Wales beaches in the hope that a bit of sand was removed after these easterly’s of late Grin first impression was that the beach had at some time changed a bit with some sand pushed up although not a great amount however finds were made in the form of the pictures shown, I will say my sovereign and the 15” wot coil had to work hard as almost every signal came at extreme depth one penny at 18” as you can see most of the coins are well crudded up normally a sure sign for BLING to follow but not today sadly Sad I did however pull up the two pieces of costume jewellery together in the same hole in the soft dry sand, having looked carefully at them I can confirm they are not hallmarked 950 Platinum Cry Cry and so  will not be retiring just yet Cheesy

Thats a respectable turnout Paul. Very interesting.  Whats that on the wire ring, is it a bit of silver, it looks like it.  3 generations of coins, and a selection of bullets, can't be bad. Hope I do as well (I doubt it) when I go on Wednesday.

Somewhere with a long walk to get there. Can't tell till you get there what it's going to be like but at least I can explore in-land a bit if it's no good.

It great to see (as Val said) 3 generations of coins - and despite the crud some of those brass ones look like quite good nick - normally when I dig them up (from the farm) they are cream crackered.
