returned to cardigan bay for a total of 16 hours detecting with my new 15x12 sef coil and the etrac, still no gold Sad but found a hammered 1574 sixpence Grin in very poor condition only 75 percent complete, this is by far my  oldest coin to date, also a very small silver ring that has no weight doesnt even register on my scales,5 sixpences 1899 to 1940 and about 10 pound in new money, roll on the next big tides, can anyone tell me what is the best condition for the removeable of sand on the the beaches is it big tides?,onshore wind?,offshore wind? or the two combined, will post some pics shortly when i get a camera.
