Another great rally, and a good weekend, thanks to all concerned and thanks to Ian for helping me to put my tent up, found a few items and the best for me was this Charles 1st half groat, there's some nice detail on it.

Great rally, thanks to all the team who work so hard organising these rallies for us. Ben and his family were so welcoming. We didn't find anything worth mentioning but we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the 2 lads who helped us put up our tent and also to Ken who also gave us a hand in setting up. This was our 1st 2 dayer and will not be our last.
It was great meeting so many people and putting faces to forum names.
Looking forward to the next one already!
Some lovely finds made, well done everyone

Thanks to all for an excellent rally. Perfect weather and a huge amount of easy to dig land to choose from. I had some nice finds too - a roman head figurine, a roman minim and a George VI silver half crown. I think pics of the first two will be in the rally report but if not I will post them here.

A great rally with acres and acres  of detecting land available, I was lucky enough to find  a 1604 James 1st hammered and a small hammered with no visible markings, I also had a silver 1818 George 111 love token with many other great finds. Many thanks to DW  for organising a great two dayer with many great finds found. I look forward to the next rally !

As a few seem to be posting their finds on this thread I thought I'd add my surprise find. Posted it separately hoping for confirmation but I'm fairly sure now it is an Iron Age Spear Head.
