Just joined the site and lookin forward to meeting some of you guys :). I started metal detecting when i left school with a c scope i think?. It was a black stick with a coil and a handall the other end that pulled off and took 1 9v batt. It had a red collar that you slid up the stick to either the metal or mineral position lol ;D. That was the only adjustment on it and i found jack with it :D. Next time i started was about 2001 when i got a gti2500 and later a minelab explorer. These were great machines and i found lots of interesting stuff with them. Packed up in about 2004 and sold all my tectors and thought nothing more about the hobby until about 6 months ago when i got a garret at pro and started up again. This has proved usefull as i live by a river. Started to go on organised digs and find myself really getting into the hobby this time. So much so im getting an upgrade of either an xp Deus or a ctx 3030 when the prices drop after christmas. Cant wait ;).
