yanks are big on Treasure maps to show them where to dig

on the US forums there are long and complex clues and alleged puzzle maps that claim to show where some rich dude burried his wealth and being a good philanthropist he went to a lot of trouble to design a puzzle map to show future hunters where to find his wealth if only they can work out the puzzle map.
i am not aware of any similar stories and maps in the UK ,so if you know any let us know so we can get digging to helpout the long gone dude.
i suspect Hollywood is responsible for these alleged puzzle maps
