Title: sword hanger Post by: relicron on August 22, 2017, 11:14:02 AM Hello guys,like tom was saying we had a nice couple of finds on the weekend,a bit quiet on the roman coins,still had a couple which we cant grumble at,tom had 2 lovely little hammereds,and a part bronze axe which is great stuff,i was very lucky to find this lovely sword hanger which cleaned up beautiful,going again Thursday so fingers crossed,here is a couple of photos of my sword hanger ,cheers guys Ron.

Word to the wise though although vegetable oil may make it look very nice in the short term, I have found that olive oil decimates artefacts long term and I fear olive oil will do the same.
