I have been working on getting permissions to find a quiet piece of undetected farm Smiley, however so far no luck.

There's not that much undetected land around about you but and it's a big but most of it was detected back in the late 70's early 80's and detector's by virtue of larger coils now detect deeper so a great deal of land though missing the big old coppers are still worth detecting.
I have a few sites that were club land for years and I'm still pulling hammies and Romans of them.
Good luck with the search and if you fancy a day's detecting further south give me a shout Wink
