I'm thinking of travelling up th the Detecting Scotland Rally on 16th October in Dundee.  Anybody fancy sharing a ride up ?

travelling from south wales to dundee is gonna take alot longer than six hours it takes my brother 6hrs to get to my house from the borders galashiels..i should imagine dundee must be atleast 2 hrs or more again..

Not these days Ray especially not on a Sunday.

I was in Aldershot up till a year ago and could make it to Helensburgh in 6 hours! Once did it in under 5 during the night.

coming from scotland grant you should know mate..ive been to marks many times it always taken us biggest part of six hours..i mean dundee.s hell of distance from galashiels..how long would you say it would take the boys to get there grant.cheers.

pontypridd to dundee city  , AA route finder = 467 miles = 8hrs 16mins , i do a lot of touring with my caravan and use the AA route finder all the time and its pretty good , i might consider going but a b&b after tectin then home the next day
