At yesterdays Rally, Bob and Cherry {aka RookyPair} showed me a find that they had made at one of our summer rallies, in the form of a fob seal that Bob has since had made into a silver ring for his good lady.

What a stunning before and after process that has now resulted in a contemporary piece of jewellery with a Georgian twist! It can still be used as a seal and you should use it at every opportunity guys.

This is the best re-use of a detecting find I have ever seen.

Well done Bob for having the vision to do it, giving the find a new life and allowing it to be seen again.

Congratulations on a lovely item.

Neil
