I assume you're talking scrap prices Dylan.  The 1st one would have cost a lot more than that to buy.

Dale, Hope you're not thinking of selling for scrap, it's much too nice.

Interesting that they're from a pitch sideline (although I'm not to surprised).

Given that the farm I go to is either under crop or the pasture is over knee high at the moment, I've thought about the local parks (as a Scan Club Member) - managed 30 minutes before the rain yesterday - and forcing myself to use my Deus (by leaving my ETRAC in the house). No gold yet, but did manage a silver bangle in my back garden. Your finds give me hope!

Well the park I went to yesterday is where I used to play as a child - downside currently is that they now fence them off and bury them under a foot of bark chippings! I still manage to find loads of change though by eye Smiley - I'll certainly try and follow your advice!

Do it mate Wink I detect grass once in a blue moon, also populated grassed areas due to the modern trash Embarrassed......But this weekend I tried the grass and dug every signal even iffy running my machine just above iron......I did dig my fair share of tabs and chopped can and football studs, but it was worth it.
The way im thinking there should be less studs on the pitch as they change them on the side line, I was finding hoards of them in places Undecided il find out soon Roll Eyes

That's pretty much where I started on Monday, but my boy got bored (he's not a club member so isn't allowed to dig) and then it rained (and I wasn't wearing a coat), so had to go in. I'm hopeful for the area - I found a couple of quid and an old penny - the park was open fields until the '40s but has had 70 years of pretty heavy footfall Smiley

I'm using the Deus because I'm forcing myself to learn it, should be better on the small gold, but I do dig more trash with it than the ETRAC.
