Was the day productive generally? I saw Tom's nice coin on the Scan Club site.

As far as I know there were three Hammered. Toms Edward 1st?, My James 1st and another hammered. No Roman.

Avalon had a lovely Papal Bullae.  Shocked Shocked

Quite a few buckles. I also had a Cartwheel but it's worn.

Nice weather. Beautiful scenery.

Any idea what date the Charles sixpence. Can't find similar shield in my book. Will go and get a few more

It's somewhere between Spink 2814 and 2821 (in post-2006 editions after the numbering was changed). Date 1636-1646.
