Another little hammered `` Ceitil ´´ from Portugal Ceitil Copper ( hammered ) King Afonso V ( 1438 / 1481 ) 20 mm 1,9 grs The `` Ceitil ´´ is the equivalent to the farthing, First minted under King Afonso V . Its name comes from the name sextile, ie one sixth, these coins were minted from 1438 till 1578. I would have prefered to have made a mistake and find another hammered coin, but such didn´t happen Whilst on the spot I did however find this bronze 10 Centavos coin 1925 and this bronze needle..
