Thanks in advance. I had the same problem, I put them in a pot with some vinegar and sone rock salt, left for around 20 mins, cleaned some but other a little weird, and the longer you leave the coppers they turn pink, small wire brush got best results for me but was a little time consuming with a lot of change lol Title: Re: Modern Currency cleaning Help please Post by: wagis on December 10, 2015, 10:06:39 PM Some of it especially £1 coins I use them in Tesco or Asda in their self service tills
Title: Re: Modern Currency cleaning Help please Post by: Val Beechey on December 10, 2015, 10:55:08 PM Ironic realy when you think about it. I have to pay to park at my local beach, go off and have a ferret, find a couple quid and have to dump half of them because the parking meter wont accept them. Probably fakes, crazy.
Saw them talking a out fake British coins on the TV last week. They reckon the experts are having a hard time sorting out the 2 pound coins now and i think they've given up on the 1 pound because there's so many. |
