Attached is a photo of the hallmarks on a gold band on an old walking stick I have. I know the lion's head means London, but can anyone tell me what the "12.5" and the "P" ones mean? Thanks.

The P is for 1930 but not sure on the 12.5 unless it is 12.5g.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'm thinking 12.5 carat too.

Anyway, I'll be sawing it off the stick (which is wrecked) weighing it and seeing what it's worth.

Yes, 12.5 carat. See here for a ring with the same 12.5 mark:
