Hi doc, found this wisdom tooth looking thing today, it stands about 1" high and about an 1" wide and no thread in the base so has got some age to it.
Any ideas??

As Geoff says it's a casting jet, where the molten metal was poured into a mould. It was then snapped off the finished casting.
