Where am I?

« on: June 07, 2015, 05:26:05 AM »

Thought I would start showing some of my finds. Found my first Roman back in January, and its Silver. Trajan Fortuna I believe.

That really is a stunner Wittsy  Shocked It wouldn't be my choice of a first Roman to find though as it could take a long long time to find another in that condition Grin

We generally like to find Roman grots and broken brooches first, but a silver in that condition has not circulated much I guess, and has been recently brought up by the plough  ???or sat in the pasture protected.  Wink

Welcome to DW wittsy, hope you enjoy.

What a stunning Roman.  Please, please tell me you DIDN'T find it in Pembrokeshire.  It's a great find where ever you found it,  well done.
