Title: t2 Post by: adt69 on January 28, 2014, 02:15:17 PM hello all
i am looking to getting another machine and was thinking t2, are they any good what is depth like, i also have my eye on a e-trac al Title: Re: t2 Post by: herbie on January 28, 2014, 05:26:01 PM I've been using the T2 for a few years now and love it. Takes time to get used to, but then so does any other machine. Having used it on many ground types I would say it has pretty good depth and loves the small silver items. It can be a bit 'chatty', so if you don't like a machine that 'talks' to you it might not be the one for you. It loves pasture and that's generally where you get the best depth. Also had a few gold items too.
I think for the price its one of the best performing machines out there, although build quality isnt the best, but it isnt too heavy either, I highly recommend it. Easy to set up, and I don't subscribe to what people say about it not having a saved setting function, it simply doesn't need it. So quick to flash it up and go. Would like to know how it performs with a larger coil tho. Title: Re: t2 Post by: Dungbeetle on January 29, 2014, 12:44:38 PM I used a T2 for a good while and found it an excellent machine, it only takes a few seconds to set up and no fancy programmes to enter. I've got a 15 inch sef coil for it which really does go deep but the pinpointing is dire. I'm using a Deus now purely for the weight and wireless capability. I think that the T2 can equal any of the top end machines at a far lesser price.
