Apparently there,s slide show playing behind the FLO table of everthing recorded playing on a constant loop. A Llanelli member found a half Stater Sorry cant remember his name, and our Chairman Paul Minton,s found some nice stuff.notably a silver hammered and a quality Roman Coin. Has anyone got any more news ??? There was a rumor that a hoard of staters was found early afternoon. Shungav had a nice 150bc pontin, Good condition. I had a roman grot and a few nice bits but nothing to shout about. But had a great weekend.

Did come away with a Lizzie half groat in not very good condition, and a 10th.c stirrup mount ( zoomorphic ) The archys wrote a report and it said condition was worn. It would be worn after 1000 years in the soil. But they insisted on recording it,as they said it was fairly rare. Digger |
