Title: back to woodcutters field

went back to thewoodcutters field again yesterday no hammies this time, Melonhead was the winner of the finds cup with his two trade weights he found well done m8, i took the banana home  :-\ hard going on the third visit there we found a few copper coins lots of lead,bits of pottery ,i did find a spur thing !! few buttons ,all in all a quit day ,my detector conection did pack in about 2pm so we called it a day, at least it did stay fine ,cant find things all the time can we. ;D ;)

its not like melonhead to find nothing kev.lol..nice trade weightes though.still a great day out detecting.keep it up both.

cheers Ray & Viv just had a id off UKDFD on the SPUR ROWEL its late medieval 14th-15th century and melonheads trade weight is Georgian.

Well done Kev and Mark. Spur rowl wins it for me but still an interesting selection of finds.
