Thats a great find,  bet you were well chuffed, i bet the person who lost it was upset,  what a nice way to keep those old silver coins though.

Thats a cracker iof a find mate - I bet it blew your ears off. I would have loved to see them coming out of the soil one by one on the chain.

A lovely find - be hard to beat that this year ::)

Brilliant find Gav,some very nice coins,i think if the coins are made in to jewelry then they become an artifact rather than individual coins so it shouldn't count as a hoard.Is there a hallmark on the chain,and what is the date of the earliest coin.Very nice find  :)
