Title: Re: Million pound coin found in midlands Post by: Chef Geoff on September 07, 2014, 01:39:17 PM Fantastic find but most of the "coinies" seem to be scratching their heads as to where they get the million figure from most tend to think it will sell for around the £10K mark, the book price for a fine example is $2500 (£1500) but that "EF" tag will no doubt bump the price up quite a bit ;)

Title: Re: Million pound coin found in midlands Post by: Chef Geoff on September 07, 2014, 03:42:16 PM I don't think the coin itself is that rare just it's condition, yes compared to old world coins of the time they were few but not only were English coins accepted as currency there were only around 25,000 people in New England at the time.
