Title: HALLMARK FOR ID

now its not an english silver hallmark ( well i dont think so ) , it smells of eggs when using silver foil ( does silver plate do this  :-\ ) , is it silver , foreign , plate ????

any suggestions most welcome  :)

Yes silver plate can smell the same as solid as it's the silver sulphide that forms on it that smells and yes it's silver plate by William Hutton & Sons Ltd of Birmingham 1893- c.1930
