I am off to Devon Cliffs next week. Ca n anybody tell me what the beaches are like down that way.

All beaches in Devon and Cornwall are rubbish leave the detector at home lol.
Only joking you should be good happy hunting had loads from Devon beaches  :)

they are great have a look at Gary ql's utube vidios at exmouth beach i went there last year and i found 7 pound coins in one hole and thought i would brag about it to a detectorist comeing up the beach as soon as i told him he said last night by the dunes he found so many coins he had to go home early as he had no pocket space left

I'd imagine around Torquay Pier would be a good spot. ;)

l2 weeks ago i was on exmouth c front and wham 4 inches under the wet sand 1897 penny tanner 1946 a 1951threepenny bit and 6 quid in new dosh also on sandy bay beach over 3 nights i found between 7 and 10 quid was there on one of the sun deals also on the camp there are two sand pits 4 the children to play in so after they all whent 4 there t wham i was in them and had about 8 pound 50 p so if i was u mate go and injoy your self .the low tide 4 next week in exmouth is 3 o clock in the afternoon sunday then add an hour on for each day enjoy im happy with what i found sinky . 8) :) ;) : ;D
