No if you look at your book you'll see that the difference in size between different denominations is quite small and when clipped can be exactly the same and so the rose is on every other denomination
Shilling....no rose
Sixpence...rose
Groat......no rose
Threepence...rose
Half Groat...no rose
Three halfpence....rose
Penny....no rose
Three Farthings...rose

Thanks chef that is very interesting, it is all a learning curve for me and coins, i know the signals but not what i found lol.

As you said it's great to find something like that that's been lost all those years, even if it isn't the most valuble item in the world.

I've not sold anything I've found - except those items which the museum will require me to sell to them (although eventually I will take the lead to the scrappy!)
