i've noticed since the highbridge rally a few week's ago how members posting leading up to the rally have vanished and the forum is back to normal with the 9-10 regular posters keeping this forum ticking over. mike

I second that - we always manage to attract a couple of regular newbies  after a rally, but the vast majority do fade into obscurity and resurface at a later date. Not too much of a problem as we want newbies to attend the rallies. Just a shame a few more of them don't contribute more regularly.

Come on newbies - I know you are regularly checking in - make a few posts. show us what you are finding or if you don't have a camera just tell us about it.

Regular posters, please don't turn this thread into Groundhog Day VI lads and lasses!

I reckon Casa Dos could have a forum of his own. I think Kev is also a bit of a wannabe quizmaster. I reckon if this two day detectathon happens we should have a quiznight and have Kev as the quizmaster.After a few bevvies we won't care who wins anyhow!

Kev I know where to get you a sparkly jacket as well. I reckon that would be a great idea if not at the Detectathon then maybe a Detecting Wales social evening at Xmas say.

hi mel at least your making an effort to post and mix with other members. when the next rally is announced it will be chocker on here leading up to the day then nothing until the next rally. this site is getting a bit predictable now i.e how many interesting threads can 9-10 regular posters keep churning out. we know it's going to be quiet until harvest time so a little effort on everyone's part to keep this forum fresh with new interesting threads is not a lot to ask.  mike
