A great return to Brigwater for our yearly Santa Hats rally.

Rallies have been thin on the ground this year but we could not possibly miss out on our Ho ho ho down.

We have 75 acres of pasture and stubble available as well as freshly ploughed, cropped and stubble fields that were pasture.

Last visit saw Hammereds, Roman, and Gold. As well as our normal Raffle with Token hunt - A form favourite for our members.

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally and the rally fee is £7.00 as normal.

Not sure how the counter is working. ?
 At the moment it's 73/100 but a few people have requested others to be added.
If 100 is the ceiling for the Rally then it may well be there are more than 100 attending.
Just an observation.

with Taffs weightloss we can now squeeze in another three/four at a push  ;D

How do we get there please, do we make our own way there?, or is there transport, sorry never been on a rally before  :)

We send out the post code the night before via a private message on this forum and then it's up to yourself to make your own way there or share with others.

If you wish to attend though you do need to sign up to the rally list, otherwise you will not receive the post code.

Could someone please confirm Santa's Hat Rally location as being Brigwater as advertised, or Bridgewater.
I cant seem to find Brigwater anywhere :-\

Sorry but myself and Tonytrees won't be able to make this one. We have animals to sort out each morning and this one would make a very early start for us - and I've no wish to annoy my neighbours with animals out at the crack of dawn! Maybe next year. Hi Mike,
As we will be driving up from Cornwall the day before the rally, can you please send the postcode earlier, so we can find a caravan site nearby.
We would not pass this on to anyone else, & would not go to the rally site before the planned meeting time.
If you could do this, it would be a great help to us.

had to drop from the rally, as i have been booked on a shoot for the same day [a present from the family]  maybe next time, i am sure there will be lots of finds and will wait to see all your pics.

Hi guys sorry not going t be able t make the rally the weekend...

Speaking to Mike yesterday - Please try and car share as much as you can for Sunday's Santa Hats Rally.

There is parking and overflow on the fields but as you know its been a tad damp so we will try and keep to hard parking as best we can.

Sorry, can't make rally tomorrow just been told I have to work tomorrow.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the rally tomorrow due to man flu, just like to wish everyone good luck, merry Christmas and a happy new year.
