Many thanks to outlaw for organising a great day out and for the attending members for their good company on a hot and sunny day in stunning scenery.
A big hats off to Rob for finding the axe heads and finishing the day in style (beating my spur rowel for find of the day ,possibly 16th C )

I know the attention swung towards the axeheads at the end of the day but the Rowl and the Lizzie were two great finds to be proud of Ian. Well done Sir.  Cool

That lizzie was down just over 12" and the ground was very dry, Ian did very well to find it. (always carry tape measure, gps, camera, and drink )
