Hi,

Well beautiful scenery, boiling hot weather and 19 members who i feel will agree what a fabulas 1st rally with an array of finds.
Hammereds, cart wheel pennies, artefacts, you name it, we found it !

Photo's will be posted later on by me and others.

Especially finds made by, well i think he knows who he is and he should be the one who tells his own story of what he found in the closing stages of the rally but being bashful and calm and cool ( me i would have danced round an round ) Waltonbasinman will do the honours on his behalf ! Grin

I would like to say thank you to all the members of Brecon MDC for making it a day to remember.

I am very sure, that the rest of the members and I, who attended this rally, would like to give a BIG thank you, to Outlaw, for arranging everything for this very eventful day, his hard work and dedication is very much appreciated. He even arranged for the great weather, what a man.
Once again, thank you!

Well what a day. 30 degree heat, stunning views. Some well nice landowners and an interesting array of finds with as David says had a great end to the day. All members struggled with the heat but were well up for a good day. My first find was a Viccy penny swiftly followed by a Thimble that is probably Victorian. After that I found a lot of Decimal currency, lead lumps of bronze and as usual at least two hours of my day chatting. Other Members had a better day that made Brecon,s first club rally a resounding success. Here are some photo,s
