Next meeting of BreconMDC 4th May 2010 Groesffordd village hall. (7.30pm.)

Buckle night ! Bring in archived buckles. Its something we all find and there are some
amazing designs and patterns. ( an opportunity to have them dated )

We also have two guest speakers and I hope to arrange a date for 1st Brecon rally !

Paul Waltonbasinman will photograph all exhibits, and the Radnor Bandit has kindly offered also to lend a hand.  

We look foreward to the feature produced.

outlaw been following your clubs progress since we spoke at chepstow a month or two back. really great to see its taking shape and coming on leaps and bounds.
any chance of showing some phot's of the buckles that were brought to club night.

Just to remind members of Brecon MDC,

Next meeting 4th May 7.30pm Groesffordd Village hall, archived buckle night, and
also we have two guests coming, tea and coffee available.

Look forward to see every body,  emails have been sent out !

Finds of month starts so bring in recent finds please.

Arrangements have been made for Brecon's 1st rally date to be discussed on Tuesday.

.......and yes Zorro don't see a problem with that as long as others agree  Grin

Very good night last night with an interesting array of buckles on show for Buckle Up night except mine which though neatly packaged for the short trip to the meeting managed to be forgotten. We had an interesting talk on PAS from The Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust and as members of the Brecon Club we encourage members to record their finds and a good turnout from the membership with their latest finds ensured an interesting night. The ladies deserve a thank you as well for the lovely coffee and tea so well done Debs and Lynda. The next meeting will be at Groesffordd Village Hall near Brecon on Tuesday 1st June at 19.30. Also please members remember we start the finds of the month in June so bring in your finds.

I enjoyed the meeting last night, and I found the talk very informative. At least now, if I ever find something nice, I'll have some idea whether it's treasure or not. Smiley

Nice members too, and I can't wait to see you all again at the first rally.

As a complete novice to this hobby, I would like to thank everyone at the meeting on 4/5/10 for their welcome.
