visiting the SW coast tomorrow for the day with family and hoping to fit a bit of beach detecting in  Grin Grin

Checked the Crown Estates map and very little of this coastline between Seaton and Burton Bradstock is owned by the crown Estate it seems.

Has anyone detected this bit of coastline before ? or knows anything about where permission is needed or where best to go ?

Me too i just steer clear of N.T. areas and well away from any sand dunes cos most of these are protected sites.

thanks guys. In the event the girlies wanted to go to Axminster and Beer and I draw the line at detecting on stones lol. Wink Grin  so I took the camera instead.

I'll try Burton Bradstock next time as there is plenty of the sandy stuff there.
