Two inches below the ground, right in the gateway where the tractors and combine drove over it many times, on a field I've never found anything on, haven't cleaned it , came up like this. Trouble is it's worn where I don't want it to be!

And the little item , you are gonna say it's Tudor i expect,. cap badge or part of a dress fastener?
