had this back from mark ludwick last night , confirmed as a fragment of roman siliqua , c 380 - 390 ad , and the 1st mark has recorded from wales in 10 years , very pleased , hope theres a few more there somewhere  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Well, having seen it 'in the hand' - and with the correct orientation, it was quite obvious - and looking at the pictures (now I know which way round they are), you can see the head on the bottom image and Virtus seated on the upper picture (head is upside down, and virtus' head is to the right).

I'm hoping there'll be a few more there - well done Mike. Definitely on my list of roman things to find Cheesy
