Thanks for that Geoff. Yes i do remember the stop campaign as if it were yesterday.
 I`m one of these people that don`t easily forgive & forget, with regards to that very subject .
 I don`t trust any Arkies as far as I can throw one, and because of the distrust ,and lets be quite clear about this, "caused by the Arkies ",not us detectorists, I will always be waiting for the sharp stab of the blade between the kidneys to arrive , and it will come as no surprise when it does come.  
 And lets also be clear on this.  The arkies need US . We don`t need them. Without us, there would be countless discoveries still under the soil and undiscovered ,probably some would never have come to light had it not been for metal detectorists .
