Thanks for a great day lovely weather, fantastic freinds what more can you want except those darn COWS i nearly had a heart attack  Shocked when they came in the feild i wasn,t long moving Cry and i just found my coin never mind you can imagine what i said S..T

Had a great day out,found my first Welsh Roman! a grot unfortunately!,a few georgian coppers,musket ball and an old pocket knife.Got to meet some new faces and some old friends.Looking forward tto the next event.Thanks again to Neil,Geoff and Rob for organising it. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Never found nowt meself but enjoyed the day anyway despite feeling like a bag of sh@t! Found out on monday I've got sinusitis so thats my excuse for not getting stuck into the roman! Always a good atmosphere at the rallies and heres looking forward to the next one!

seems very unusual reverse..cant place it at moment will have to get books out later. or ask peterh for an I.D.
are there any features on obverse?

Debbie you are absolutely right.
i couldn't enlarge pic when i tried last time ?? and the top of the arch of the wolf's back looked like a crack in the coin. from the small image it looked like 2 people sitting under a tent...god i got to get my eyes sorted out  Roll Eyes
