without question it must be the spoon for the originality and the probability it is a one off never to be found again.

I saw this spoon moments after it was dug up and the photograph does not do it justice.

The winner was as you can all see the Coin Spoon, which was probably used for dishing out tea at some point.

If the finder [I think it was Willow Tree] can send me their details via a PM - I'll get Geoff to post your prize to you. The prize which was kindly donated by Millsy is coincidentally a Coin ring!

hi thanks very much for the votes and a special thank you to millsy for the prize i  i will carry it with me for luck while i am detecting .... would never have found the spoon if i had not joined d.w thanks again to you all good luck with the detecting  we all know it s out there waiting for us ... i have had a valuation on the spoon i will keep you in wondering and post the answer tomorrow good luck and thanks again cheers chris  Wink
