I'd just like to thank everyone that attended the Llantwit rally, great to see so many friends again and make loads more friends.I spoke to far too many to name, only an hours detecting on the Saturday proves that. Spoke to the farmer this morning (Sunday) and he was very pleased everyone enjoyed themselves, and must have been happy with our behaviour as I got some favourable feedback of him  Grin , lets just say the possibilty of a return trip to  one of his many farms is a very good possibility.

Special thanks to the guys that camped , really good company with top blokes , and Gazza ...what a BBQ master you are.

I think one liner of the rally has got to go to Borderfox. It went like this.

Tafflaff:- "I heared something snuffling around the outside of the tent last night , I thought you was attempting to spoon with me Mr fox."

Borderfox:- "No....... I dont know what spooning is but.. No......."  Cheesy

Thanks again guys , glad you enjoyed it.

Well done Rob, it was a great place to be, from your initial thoughts on it to it coming to fruition has been a lot of work and tense times I'm sure.
Thanks for giving everyone the opportunity to meet up it's much appreciated.  Wink

Sorry i could not make it taff but had a phone call on friday to fish for wild brown trout in Loch Corrib Gallaway Ireland. Cannot turn that down and what a fantastic trip it was too.
The Loch is 35 miles long and 8 miles wide at its widest point and when there is a good wave on the water at this time of year the fishing is unforgetable. But it was nice to read the posts on the rally well done to all that attended look forward to hearing more.

Yeah great day Rob. Funny enough I could only do the Sunday but had a whale of a time. Thanks Casa Dos, Adie and Melon head for your hospitality and though out in the field for six hours I to only spent a hour and a half detecting due to constant conversation. Seen some great finds though and was a great location. Thankyou all for a very enjoyable day and I am well keen for the next rally.
