Title: 22 Sept 2011. Todays Hammered. Worn. Needs ID
Post by: rjm on September 22, 2011, 07:23:34 PM
I found this today which was in a hell of a state and is quite worn. Any ideas as to ID. It has a rose next to the
monrach head which isn't very visible in the photo.

Thanks Pete.

I thought it might be but couldn't find a matching crown in my coin book,

Any idea of the issue, mint?

Looks like sixth issue, mintmark tun (1592-95). The date is hard to see clearly in the pic - possibly '92 or '94?

Dremel burned out. Now using Electrolysis. Lights in house flickering-----is that normal?  ;D

The above pic is after cleaning.  :)
