mentioned this to welsh john and dom when i was at moorlinch and they advised i put it on here .
the only way i can describe it is it could fit on the end of a pencil and it looks like a crown.
each corner of the ''crown'' has 3 tiny balls of decoration and all around it is various decoration.the top has a ball in the middle and a cross shape that splits the top into 4 segments.
i found it on the beach i found the georgian coin and metalmoster found a really old unidentified coin .if anyone has any idea id love to know.i thought it was just a bit of lead weights until  the sand dried and i gave it a brush with a toothbrush.

Is it hollow underneath  ??  If it is then it could be a pencil end.

i did think it could poss be a crown broken off a lead figure but if you nobby found one aswell then its not likely to be that .
i think some sort of decorative pencil end would be possible but i think thats unlikely as pencils were not like they are now and the fact it is prob lead leads me to think they wouldnt put it on the end of a pencil during this century .
im sure one day someone will know but for now it will prob stay in my mystery box  Tongue
